322 is real. Pemain Mahameru Daripada Indonesia di ban daripada Joindota League

Ia berlaku lagi cuma pada kali ini kes menjual permainan ini berlaku kepada pasukan Mahameru daripada Indonesia. 3 pemain mereka iaitu Dhiery 'SPACEMAN', Jourdan 'Oclaire' dan Gunawan 'Spica' Leman telah dikesan meletakkan taruhan menentang pasukan mereka sendiri di NXTGame. Perbuatan ini telah berjaya dikesan oleh NXTGame dan mereka telah memenangi lebih 300USD item di dalam game.

Selain itu, seorang pemain Zero Latitude Fajar 'Benclung' Maulana juga dikesan meletakkan taruhan kepada pasukannya sendiri di perlawanan yang disyaki berlaku 322.

Lanjutan daripada itu, Joindota telah mengeluarkan kenyataan seperti berikut

Overall Spaceman, Oclaire, and Spica have won items worth about 300 Dollars by betting against their own team. Investigations by nxtgame have proven the connection of these bets to said players via their steam ids. This results in the following punishments:

• Mahameru is disqualified from joinDOTA League #8 and their division 2 slot is lost.

• The match is closed with a 0:0 score (basically counting as a loss for both teams).

• All other matches of Mahameru count as a 0:2 default loss.

• SPACEMAN, Oclaire, as well as Spica are banned from joinDOTA League and all joinDOTA related competitions for four seasons (= ~one year)

• The remaining players of Mahameru (Bigfat, XoT, FeuruFyuria) are excluded from the running season.

• Benclung is also banned from the current season

Explanation: Our investigations have led us to the very safe assumption that at least two members of Mahameru (Spaceman and Oclaire) had no intention of winning the match against zL, while Spica (who stood in for zL) was also inducted. These players have clearly broken important rules of both joinDOTA League and nxtgame. Matchfixing cases like this (also see the Arrow Gaming incident last year for comparison) are punished by us with a one year ban. An involvement of the other members of Mahameru.id could not be proven thus far. These players are temporarily excluded until the end of the seasons as further investigations on the case are still ongoing. However they will presumably be allowed to participate in the next season. As for zL player Benclung, his actions seem unrelated to the matchfixing and are therefore handled seperately. Betting on oneself is by far not as bad as doing the opposite (which ultimately led to his lighter punishment), however it still violates betting rules to do so. We want to point out that we don't approve any kind of betting on matches that a person is involved in himself.
