WCA2015 professional qualifier(The Southeast Asia, Japan and Korean Region) has ended successfully, many strong teams has got the tickets for the world finals. And the global open qualifier(The Southeast Asia, Japan and Korean Region) is coming soon! The sign up of Crossfire is over and you can see the format in the following picture, 32 teams have been ready to fight, the champion will qualify the world finals, and will get the chance to fight against professional teams.
WCA 2015 is a global competition with total prize of 100,000,000 RMB($15,830,000), ranging from China, America, Europe, to Southeast Asia, Japan and Korea. The Southeast Asia, Japan and Korean Region will be divided in two parts---the professional qualifier and the global open qualifier. The players will fight for the tickets of the world finals in December.
The CF WCA global open qualifier is from Nov.1st to Nov 14th, and also the prize pool is very rich. The champion gets 60,000RMB($9,498), the second place gets 30,000RMB($4,749), the third place gets 20,000RMB($3,166), the fourth place gets 10,000RMB($1,583), from fifth to eighth place gets 5,000RMB($ 781) for each, and the total prize pool is 140,000RMB($22,162).
The matches will be single-elimination and best of three. Mode: Boom Mode (Team Match 5 VS 5), round Duration: 2mins 30seconds. Official Map: Dark Town (old version), Dessert, Submarine, Shipping Yard, Exotic Town. 18 Round (at most): both sides will act as 9-round terrorist and 9-round guardian. Once one side got 10 wins, the game will end. If draw occurs (9:9), the extra match will be taken. Annihilation mode will be used in the extra match. Both sides will not change their roles and play for 5 rounds. The roles of each side in extra mode should be just the same as the one they act at beginning of the boom mode.
