Isu boosting mmr telah menjadi debat panas di dalam KD2M apabila sebahagian komuniti cuba menentang aktiviti boosting yang dibuat oleh kebanyakkan pemain pro di Malaysia. Isu ini kemudiannya dijawab panjang lebar oleh Hishiko Tsuyuri bagi membela pemain pemain yang melakukan boosting sebagai punca pendapatan mereka

MMR SERVICE description-
MMR boosters here are players who have more experience in game, who have reached higher playing methods in Dota 2. How does this work? Players who are having a hard time reaching higher desired MMR will pay us boosters to reach their desired MMR. Is this harmful ? Will my account get banned? Yes it is harmful, because u could get your account stolen from you if you choose a wrong / untrusted booster. And nope your account wont get banned. MMR Boosting theory is just same like pro players using smurf accounts to play.There are tons of boosting services offered out there, eg epicnpc.com and other websites as well. Everygame have boosting services and is the players all banned? Answer : NO. They are not banned.
Points :
1. We Malaysian boosters DO NOT USE ANY SOFTWARES / BOTS to up MMR. (Im not sure about others but me myself just play and win the game)
2. Should the players be banned for doing MMR service ? > IMO : No. Its just the same as pro players playing smurf for fun, what we do is to earn a living to support ourselves
3. Scamming happens because of MMR service ? > IMO : Yes, because u should always choose your booster, which is a trusted one. Nobody asked you to risk and buy boost from a person who is unknown / websites / pages. Do it at your own risk.
4. Is MMR boosting a good or bad thing ? > IMO : The world is consisted of yin and yang. Ofcoz there are pro n cons. PROs : You'd get to achieve your desired MMR, boosters get the money they want to eat. Win-win situation. While you could also download replays from boosters and learn as well. CONs : Your account will be risked to getting stolen by untrusted boosters. Other players might find it unfair cause they were match-maked against a player which is pro.
5. Pro players cannot play smurf? Complains from other players in the match? > IMO : If you want to complain much about no smurfing in the game, better you go polish up your skills than talking much in group. Action speaks louder than words ok?
6. Its so unfair for boosting services. Go cry me a river baby, Nothing is fair in this world. If you want fair go ask from god ok ? From the time humans are born it isnt fair, if not why people get pretty faces while some get ugly since birth? Is that fair?????
7. The only concern dota 2 developers are getting are because some people abuse mmr by using softwares or auto bots to feed and matchmake in the same game so that the other party will get easy mmr points. For us malaysian booster we just PLAY and no programs involved during the whole of our boosting services.
8. Dei 1 booster going to spoil your match ah? Dota is team game leh If you so pro u can win 1 booster liao lo, he is just a player, just a normal human out there, u think he is god ah? he cheat in mmr games? no right? we just have better game knowledge so we put it to full usage.
9. From what i know, MOST people that buy MMR are just doing it for showcase / boast to their friends, they wont go play MMR games and spoil the games lol. Who want to waste money to up MMR and then go drop it again? Unless he damn rich lo. Thats why i said MOST, 0.10% will go drop it and repurchase the service again.
10. Main point : This is a service that requires mutual understanding and agreement on both parties.
