Backtick have released official statement regarding the kick of Hanb 1 day before ESL One New York Qualifier. Backtick will facin Signature Trust today at 8.00PM SGT

Weathers aren't looking pretty today as we are forced to make an official statement regarding our boot of our ex-carry player "Hanb!" relating to the issues that caused his boot, the reason of his boot and our plans for the future.

First of all we would like to thank Hanb! for his work when he was with the team. Sadly things don't always go the way we want in life and we slowly realized we aren't really a fit due to numerous attitude issues. We decided to part ways after ESL One New York Main Qualifiers peacefully as he did played a vital role in helping us to qualify for the event itself, credit must be given to him for that.

However, things took a step for the worse as a mere training schedule issue caused the team's atmosphere to erupt, prompting us to make the decision of kicking him effective immediately, with the support of the majority in the team. To make things short, Hanb! failed to uphold a promise regarding a training session at 10pm, 1 September which he agreed to beforehand (As shown in the picture proofs below). Instead, he opted to train for his team for a LAN tour in Kulai and ordered (literally ordered) us to train after his game ends. Since this is not the first time, in fact numerous times egoistical issues like this happened, I as the team manager who are in charge of the team's fundamental operations declared my intention to kick him which the team captain and most of the players agreed to. Instead of accepting the boot, said player in question decided to stir up a series of drama. This statement is written to serve as the list of proofs that most if not all of the accusations regarding our team's mistreatment towards him is therefore, completely false.

We leave the viewers and people who care to judge for themselves and we sincerely apologize for creating an uproar we would have did our best to evade. It isn't in our interests to create drama but we are left with no choice but to make an official statement to clarify the whole incident.

In addition, we have a player replacing him effective today, and he will participate along with our remaining original roster for the ESL One New York Main Qualifiers. Good luck to our boys!

Joey 'iiMoMoMushy' Lum Team BackTick's Team Manager.
