Since joining the Fnatic family earlier this year, our DOTA 2 team has been training and playing hard in what’s been a whirlwind ride leading to this year’s International event. We’ve achieved some good results in the build-up to The International, and the event itself was a good showing from the team given the short time they’d had together under the Fnatic banner. Now that the team has had time to reflect and relax after a hectic few months, all our thoughts are jointly turning to how Fnatic’s players would like their careers to progress and how our team can take further steps towards our ambition of being one of the best DOTA 2 teams in the world.

As part of this process, we’ve decided to make some changes to our line-up. kyxY, Kecik Imba and JoHnNy will continue their journey as DOTA 2 players elsewhere, we’re sure they won’t be without teams for long and we wish them every success in their future careers.

This leaves our DOTA lineup consisting of our team captain Mushi and Ohaiyo. We’re taking our time to evaluate our options, and will share an update on a new roster as soon as we have news to share.

Yee Fung Chai "Mushi" - Fnatic Dota 2 Team Captain

"It’s with a very heavy heart that we have decided to part ways with Kecik, ky, and Johnny. In our few months together as teammates, we’ve grown to enjoy each other’s company and as we’ve mentioned, we feel like brothers. However, in the best interests in the progression of the Fnatic Dota 2 squad, we’ve decided to move forward with some changes to our line-up. I wish them the best of luck in their future careers."

Lee Siong Tait - "JoHnNy"

"After a lot of discussion, I think it’s best that I part ways with Fnatic for now because I feel that I haven’t been performing to my best standard, and want to work on that. Despite that, I enjoyed every moment of being with Fnatic and I feel that I’ve developed as a person and a player because of it. I hope to bring what I learned here to my next team, after a short rest of course. Good luck with any new team and in future."

Lee Kong Yang - "kyxY"

“I’d like to thank Fnatic for all the support. I’ve had a really good experience as part of Fnatic and I wish them all the best for their upcoming events. I’d like to give a special shout out to Patrik Sättermon for the opportunity.”

Tiada kenyataan dibuat oleh Kecik Imba mengenai penyingkiran beliau. Hala tuju Johnny, Kecik Imba dan Kyxy masih belum diketahui namun khabar angin mengataka Kecik dan Kyxy akan membuat pasukan bersama dan Johnny bercuti sementara waktu.
