SEA LOTV Beta Anniversary Tournament

To celebrate the five years’ worth of StarCraft II action, as well as the impending arrival of Legacy of the Void (LOTV), the much-awaited conclusion to the almost decades-old Koprulu Sector saga, ESL is proud to organize Blizzard’s SEA LOTV Beta Anniversary Tournament, where top StarCraft II pros from Southeast Asia get to fight it out for early glory in the latest installment of one of the most successful RTS titles in gaming history.
From August to September, a series of qualifiers will be held for the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, in order to determine eight of the tournament’s 10 finalists.
August 23 - Country Qualifier # 1 (Philippines)
August 30 - Country Qualifier # 2 (Singapore)
September 6 - Country Qualifier # 3 (Malaysia)
September 13 - Country Qualifier # 4 (Thailand)

The last two spots will be filled in by a fifth SEA Open, as well as a community Redemption Vote process, which will determine the 9th and 10th seeds, respectively. Only the third placer from each country qualifier, as well as the silver finisher in the SEA Open, will be nominated for the Redemption Vote.
September 27 - SEA Open Qualifier (register at http://esl.gg/seavoid)
September 28 to October 14 - Redemption Vote
The Round of 10 opens midway through October, and will see the players divided into two groups of five. The round robin format at this stage will further thin the competition to a final 6, with the top two players from each group advancing to the upper bracket, while the third placers for each are seeded straight into the lower bracket.
October 18 - Group Stage
TBD - Playoffs/Grand Finals
The SEA LOTV Beta Anniversary Tournament is the first LOTV tournament in the region which also features a total of $2000 for the prize pool.
