Pengurus Ehug Bersuara Isu Penarikan Daripada Major All Stars

Pengurus pasukan Ehug Naerok melalui reddit telah menerangkan punca-punca mengapa Ehug terpaksa menarik diri daripada Major All Stars. Terdapat pelbagai isu dibangkitkan oleh pengurus Ehug seperti yang diterangkan melalui Reddit

The Major All Stars organizers I do feel are reputable and intended to keep their word on bringing us to Malaysia. I think part of it has to do with their inexperience in E-Sports along with their busy schedules which caused some miscommunications when talking about our itineraries.

First off, Tralf was unable to go from the get-go so we would at least need one stand-in, which we had sorted. Secondly, we needed Ryuzaw’s and Yawar’s flights to be booked immediately because they needed visas – which I voiced to the organizer Francis. We received flight information for the two the night of March 4th/5th, from there we started our visa applications. We sent our visa applications on Friday the 6th, it requires 5 business days to process and some transit time for shipping and receiving etc. Great, our visas are processing this should be fine.

After those emails and Skype conversations with Francis, which up to that point were answered pretty timely it started to diminish from that point on. I’d query Francis about things about our roster and the remainder of our flights (Inphinity, MJW, myself, +1). I had communicated our stand-in was a work in progress but we would prefer to receive the rest of our flights before proceeding.

Inphinity and MJW are students who commute from home, and when first qualified for the LAN required certain procedures to take the required time out. The schools and family had approved their leave of absence with the proof of flight information. We hadn’t received flights for anyone but Yawar and Ryuzaw at this point so that wasn’t available. I emailed and Skyped Francis everyday asking for an update as it was 3/11 becoming 3/12 – less than 4 days our alleged flight was planned.

tl;dr still waiting on visas, which may be potentially rejected, haven’t received flights for rest of roster but they did intend to do so, players needed said flights to take the time out of university, had our stand-in. All in all, we really wanted to go, Yawar was really itching for it as the rest of us were. The organizers I do believe are legit from the people I talked to who had their accommodations taken care of – but I think they just had problems doing it in a timely manner, which was the main issue for us. Team E-Hug is not disbanding and we will continue to play. Sorry for our poor performance and now our LAN absence.

I apologize if any of this came off to be negative towards Major All Stars’ event or the organizers. I have no ill intent towards them at the end of the day, and Tiffani was very helpful in sorting out this for me.

Menurut Naerok masalah mendapatkan tiket penerbangan lebih awal merumitkan proses permohonan visa dan permohonan cuti daripada Universiti. Justeru itu, penarikan diri daripada Major All Stars terpaksa dibuat berikutan daripada masalah ini.

Semoga perkara ini tidak lagi untuk pertandingan-pertandingan antarabangsa yang lain.
